Prerequisites for enrollment

- Must hold a current and valid US Commercial Pilot Certificate or higher

- Must have the FOI, FIA, FII Written Exams passed (and not out of date)

- Must be current and proficient as a commercial and instrument pilot.

 

We utilize small classes, one-on-one instruction and hands on training to prepare you to pass your CFI and CFII Checkride AND prepare you for employment within 4 weeks.

 

You will need a decent baseline of knowledge to be able to successfully complete this course in 30 days.  You will be guided how to put together lesson plans or "boards".  You will present your 'boards' and your instructor will correct any errors during your presentation.  This course does not teach you the information, we teach you how to prepare for your checkride, allow you to present the information and correct any deficiencies or misunderstandings from past training.  If you would like more information or would like to discuss if this course is right for you, please call and ask to speak with our Chief or Assistant Chief Instructor.

 

Our goal is to create professional, competent and ready to hire CFI's.

Our CFI / CFII course will prepare you for both exams in 30 days.  These days, most employers want you to have the CFI and CFII to be eligible for employment.  Allow our academy to show you the difference.

Applicants that meet the ACS / PTS Standards will receive their endorsements and a checkride date with our local examiners or, you can go home and use your favorite examiner.  The fee for the checkride is not included and varies from $1,500 to $3,000 for the CFI-Initial and $1,000 to $2,000 for the CFI-I.

This is an intense course that will require 8 hours a day at the Academy in addition to at home/hotel study and lesson preparation if you plan to take the exams before you go home.
